This synthetic landscape combines several views found in the islands of Hawaii. Clouds kissing a mountain top; an eroded rocky slope, boulder at the bottom of a slope.

This sunny landscape captures the afternoon
light as it illuminates a large swath of golden park land. It was a challenge to paint the
shaded birch tree whose white bark held minimal contrast with the yellow field behind it. Framed in a beautiful gold colored frame.

In this painting I tried to capture the sudden change of light as the sun emerges from a cloud, catches some tall trees, and brightens the land beyond the river.
